They'll be made by the same people in the same place, just the owner is changing.
Land Rovers were unreliable when independent, owned by BMW, owned by Ford, and I'd guess they'll continue to be unreliable being owned by Tata.
And Jags aren't much better.
As the other poster wrote, I wouldn't have bought one before, maybe they'll improve with the new owners.
