How much does it cost to replace a oil pump on a 2000 land rover??

Call autozone and price it I just changed mine mine was like $600. The oil pan gasket was $30. Drain the oil drop the oil pan and take out the bolts you switch out the funnel sreen looking thing bolt the new one on put sealeant on the gasket put back the oil pan. Its pretty easy I did a couple.How much does it cost to replace a oil pump on a 2000 land rover??
Call the repair shops. They can look it up in the repair manual for the time it takes. Then it is timed by the shop hourly rate plug amount for shop supply. You need to get this in writing. It will be good for 30 days. There is alot of work to do this job. I would get it from several shops. how do you know its the pump? well it would be about 3 hours labor shop rates range from 50 to 80 a hour.. make shure its the pump. you can get fooled into thinking that .example you think you have no pressre.. well the engine would sound like jingle bells. put your hand on the oil filter to see if its hot.. ok good luck.
