Fuel light on all day yesterday, but motor run fine, went to start today all electrics fine but wont start, went and got some diesel for it but still wont start?Land Rover Discovery 03 fuel light on wont start put diesel in still wont start?

Sounds like theres not enough fuel to turn the engine over and system will need bleeding through.

diesel like to have a pressurized system if you ran it to the point it was out of fuel (I hope you did not ruin the pump) you will need to look under the hood for a schrader valve ( like a tire valve stem) and (use safety glasses as fuel is high pressure and will spray) and have someone turn it over and you bleed the air out of the system if no pressure builds up you may need a new pump
