How do i connect a head unit to my 1976 land rover?

There are postive and negative binding posts on the dashboard.How do i connect a head unit to my 1976 land rover?
connect the yellow wire of the head unit to +ve wire and black wire of the head unit to -ve.



and the most important red wire to the ignition wire.

without connecting red wire the head unit won't work.
