and/or how much would it cost to have the engine completely rebuilt?What engines swap into a 1996 Land Rover Discovery?
Hummm, that was a 215 all aluminum V-8, originally an Oldsmobile part..... Any swap would involve more then just the engine. But, there was a diesel option that year, how about an oil burner ?? There are enough Land Rovers around that I'm sure there's some current info on transplants - do a 'net search ??
