Why is there no section under car makes for Land Rover?

Just curious. I have a couple, always see them on the road and find it odd that there isn't a category for them. Why is there no section under car makes for Land Rover?
Aren't they part of Toyota? Like Hummer belongs to parent company GM. I know Toyota also has a hand in Scion and Lexus.
You ARE in the Land Rover section! And the Jaguar section. And the....well you get the idea.......Why is there no section under car makes for Land Rover?
I would like to point out to some people that Land Rover IS a make of car! It is not a Ford or whatever the company is still Land Rover but the holding company is whoever. These vehicles are popular and i do not know why theree is no Land Rover section. There should be as ther are thousands of them out there all over the world.
Strangely enough it could be because that anyone that owns a Land Rover ( and Yes Taganan it IS a make of car), knows how to repair it when the very occasional problem comes up.

I've had Landies for over 30 years, wouldn't drive anything else, and the only things that I have had go wrong with them are the additional parts added by the new parent companies that were never part of the original design.

I think we can ask Yahoo to add the category if required. Why is there no section under car makes for Land Rover?
There is, depending on the year. Look under Ford for the more recent ones, BMW for the older ones.

Car Today 10 November 2000

BMW - which has spent some R12 million to remap Gauteng for a satellite navigation system - may have lost its way completely in the British Midlands, according to various sources close to the sale of Land Rover to Ford.
Come to think of it - there isn't one for M.G. or Jaguar, either.
Do a search under Rover, the original name of the company. An Explorer is not a make of car, it is a model made by Ford. Big sales in US for the Land Rover model made by Premier Automotive Group, which is owned by Ford.

American Motors made the Eagle, Concorde and Talon passenger cars and the various Jeep models. Maybe Land Rovers are listed as Sports Utility Vehicles, like the Jeep.
I think there should be a Landrover/Rangerover category personally.

It may have been left out because many people tend not to look on them as cars but a cross between a cross country vehicle and a commercial vehicle. Land rover as you will know produced the vehicle in that many combinations incuding a model with tank tracks, road.rail versions, fire engines etc that confusion reigns but may be if we ask Yahoo will include a seperate heading for them.

I think there should also be headings for commercial vehicles and Sundry vehicles

Good Luck

Graham
Because it's not common in America.
