Will a land rover freelander pull a horsebox?

I'm wanting to buy a car that will pull a horsebox. I was looking at the land rover freelander, but not sure which one will pull a horsebox (double horsebox weight is 2000kg max, and the horse is max 600kg) Hope anyone can help that knows cars? Thanks ;-)Will a land rover freelander pull a horsebox?
Hmm NO!

the car only tows 3500 LBS., or about 1590 kg. Remember that the freelander is an AWD vehicle that uses FWD unless the tires lose grip, the rear tires will start to work, so the towing will be bad. BTW, im thinking ur from Europe, and the first guy said a "silverado" truck, which is literally a huge truck that is retardedly big. I would suggest you get a Nissan Pathfinder or hmmm.....BMW X5Will a land rover freelander pull a horsebox?
Hi

The free lander is capable of pulling a one horse trailer, but it would struggle with a two horses on board in fact it could get stuck in a muddy field.

what you need at least is a range rover something with a bit of grunt, over at least 2.5 litre.

i will not tell you which you should buy.

but having said that i bought a toyota land cruiser which is 3 litre which states it will pull 3500kg.

and when a rice box with two big hunters in it, you need that sort of grunt to pull it.

take a test drive in an older model like a colorado no squeaks or rattles and it pulls like a train, oh and it hardly goes wrong..Will a land rover freelander pull a horsebox?
No, the Freelander has a maximum towing capacity of 2500lb, I'd get a Land Rover Discovery instead, it has a maximum towing capacity of 8000lb and a built-in hitch receiver. That car was practically made for towing things around.
no...won't even come close. Silverado 2500HD with allison tranny
