How do I put in this code for my 1999 Land Rover radio?

I have tried leaving the ignition on for an hour, leaving the car on for an hour and a half.. basically everything and the **** still says 'code' on the radio.. please help! The bay area has way too much traffic to not have a radio to listen to!How do I put in this code for my 1999 Land Rover radio?
you have a code in your manual book ,if you don' go to dealer they will give you code ask theme how to put it.How do I put in this code for my 1999 Land Rover radio?
Try calling your local dealer; they can look the code up from the VIN, or from the radio serial number.
