Would I fit a two-seater sofa in a Land Rover Discovery?
I have to move a two-seater sofa this weekend, and can borrow my mate's Land Rover Discovery 5-door to move it. I haven't seen the car and the sofa at the same time, so can't be sure if one will fit in the other! Has anyone managed to fit something of a similar size to a two-seater sofa in their Disco?Would I fit a two-seater sofa in a Land Rover Discovery?
i have a 3 door discovery and it is the same size as a 5 door. with the rear seats folded back it is 49" long 47" across and 41" high i have atwo seater sofa and it is 66" long it would go in but you could not shut the back door. lee.
Not sure about your vehicle but my friend has a 2 seater sofa he keeps in his Ford Windstar. If your back seat comes out or folds it should fit pretty easy.Would I fit a two-seater sofa in a Land Rover Discovery?

What do you Brits think of Ford selling Jaguar and Land Rover to India's TaTa motors?
Do you guys even have a British owned automaker anymore? It seems that every British automaker is owned by Germans, Chinese and middle easten companies except for GM's Vauxhall division.What do you Brits think of Ford selling Jaguar and Land Rover to India's TaTa motors?
Indians are more used to making Rickshaws than luxury cars. jaguars fate will be disastrous. How can a company used to making small low budget bad quality cars, that hasn't even been able to export into other markets be able to maintain a company like Jaguar?
Land Rover and Jaguar are pretty much destroyed. Tata makes cheap unreliable crappy cars(if you can even call them cars). The two weren't RELIABLE cars to begin with but now with tata running them their whole reputation is jacked along with the reliability.What do you Brits think of Ford selling Jaguar and Land Rover to India's TaTa motors?

I think people will think twice before looking at jaguars now. it's sad, but i guess that's the way business goes. and it's probably what these automakers mean by globalization. i mean you got honda accords being built ohio and nissan trucks from tennesse and volkswagens from china. european designed saturns as well as aussie made pontiacs....the lines of origin are blurred nowadays....
we only really do top end cars in small numbers like:
Lotus
TVR
Noble
Arial (atom)
stuff like that

How much is a second hand land rover worth?
It's 8 years old, diesel, automatic. I don't know what other details to give, but if anybody knows a site or something that values cars i'd be gratefull, thanksHow much is a second hand land rover worth?

For a sixteen year old they should have neither. But the best out of all of them is an Escalade.
The Land Rovers turn to junk after about 30k miles the air ride messes up on them and they make weird noises, Tahoes have problems with steering as they get older when you go to make a turn they like to nose dive on you and the steering is very loose.
Escalade by far is the best of the three you asked on.
And I am a Ford and Lincoln guy so it has nothing about my prefference just my experience with all 3
Land Rover is the car that chicks dig. Just sitting in one gives people chills. Chevy Tahoe is a "ruff and tuff" ,but I won't lie. Cadillac Escalade is tight. I would say Land Rover is the "Tuff luxury." It's a mixture of off-road performance and on road luxury.What car is more approtiate for a sixteen year old male? nothing with a big engine look for something small like a hatchback for reliability go for a Japanese car like Honda civic but for looks a small French car like citron saxo or Peugeot 206 but the one I would really recommend is a vauxhall Corsa or an Astra. But if you want something more sporty you can corsa VXR, Astra VXR or a Honda civic Type R but these cars are expensive. Although you buy a vauxhall corsa or Astra with a turbo which will be more expensive regarding car insurance.
Withj gas prices running perilously close to $4 per gallon, now is not the time to be purchasing any of the vehicles you listed. There are so many cool vehicles out there that are more fuel-efficient, including Porshce Boxster and Corvette.
The brutal truth is this: Anyone who tries to impress a girl with a car sends out the message that he's compensating for some other deficiency.

Being the fact that you are sixteen neither. These vehicles will make you look like you cannot live without your parents money. It also gives off the appearence of you being spoiled, selfish and immature, even if you are not. The "ladies" you are trying to attract will only like you for your parents money, and not you as a person. Get a Honda, have fun, and be young. You have the next 80 years to get tied down.
Don't listen to these guys. Land Rover is a great car. It is as reliable as any American brand, drives better and looks a thousand times more stylish. Moreover, due to their size, they are fairly safe. For a new driver, this would be a good car. It isn't made for speed.
I doubt females like large SUV's. They like sporty or Cute looking cars.
The Tahoe and Escalade are exactly the same cars. Just different grill and lights and wheels. The Land Rover is a horrible car.
I would get the Tahoe or Escalade.
ESCALADE i got mines at 17 and i am still happy with it and safe because of it this should be your number 1 choice also maintenance is very cheap 270 full tune up after 95,000 and 70 oil change.
